British PM Visit Marred By Nobel Clash

David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, pictured, who is about to start a visit to China, has been told that raising the matter of Mr. Liu would "have consequences." British officials said Mr. Liu's imprisonment would "not go by default." Cui Tiankai, one of China's most senior diplomats, warned, "The choice before some European countries and others is clear and simple: do they want to be part of the political game to challenge China's judicial system or do they want to develop a true friendly relationship with the Chinese government and people? If they make the wrong choice, they will have to bear the consequences.
