I don't want you to think that this is a big surprise to me, but I saw you fluently speaking Chinese on OMNI 2 (channel 15). In fact, it seemed as though you were more fluent than the hot Chinese babe who was interviewing you! I sat and watched you for 10 minutes, not understanding a word but incredibly impressed.

Comment: a surprising number of non-Chinese speakers have contacted me to say that they were taken aback to see me on Chinese-language TV news programs. It seems that people channel surf more than one might think.

The only time I saw you speaking was during lecture to that guy who always sat to your left, but I thought you were well-known around Brock for the whole Mandarin thing. Too bad you can't upload a clip to Google or YouTube - I'd like to see you arguing stuff in Chinese.

I guess you've become a bit more famous, then.

I know this is off topic, but i am curious to know if you have viewed Al Gore's movie "An Inconviniant Truth" regarding global warming. If you have watched it, do you think China is doing enough to Implement to Kyoto Protocol as the Coal industry seems like it is bringing in such large profits that Kyoto is trivial, which is contributing to the immediate danger of global warming
